Men's League
Welcome to the GDSL Men's League. We are an Adult competitive/recreational league for players that want to stay fit and active while having fun playing the game they love. After registration, keep an eye on this website for information and updates for the coming season.
When
Men's League is played on Sunday Mornings at 9am, 11am, or 1pm.
There are 3 seasons per year with a tournament included in each season. This gives everyone multiple opportunities to win a Team Trophy each season.
Spring Season (January-May)
Summer Season (June-August)
Fall Season (September-December)
Schedules depend on the number of teams registered for a season. Schedules will be published about a week before the season begins.
Games
- Games are 90 minutes, full field with 10 minute half time.
- Teams play between 10-12 games over the course of a season.
- Teams are allowed to have unlimited substitutions during a game.
Ages
Players range in ages from 15 years old to 65 years old. The league is made up of players from all skill levels and backgrounds. Our goal is to make Soccer, a lifetime sport

Games are played at the following locations:
Alvin Community College (Alvin) - 3110 Mustang Rd, Alvin, TX 77511. The league plays on 2 fields at ACC.
Little Cedar Bayou (La Porte) - 600 Little Cedar Bayou Drive La Porte, TX 77571. The league plays on 2 fields at LCB.
Deer Park Adult Sports Complex 2700 E Pasadena Blvd, Deer Park, TX 77536
U of H Clear Lake - Delta Field 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, TX 77058
Lynn Gripon Park at Countryside (League City) - 100 Alderwood St, League City, TX 77573
Hometown Heroes Park (League City) - 1001 E League City Pkwy, League City, TX 77573. There is 1 full size field at HHP
Chester Davis Sportsplex (League City) - 1251 TX-96, League City, TX 77573. There are 2 Fields at Sportsplex.
Practices
Practices are at the discretion of each team. Some teams practice and others do not
Jerseys/Uniforms
Teams are responsible to have matching uniforms with numbers on the back of each jersey. ALL players must wear Shin Guards
Extra Costs
- Referee Fees - $60 per Team at start of each game is paid to the referees.
- Team Uniforms - $? Some teams buy new uniforms for the season.
Fall 2024 Men's
This registration is for Men's players to join a team for Fall 2024 Season. Please make sure to add your picture to your profile so that referees can check you into games.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE - September 1st
Each team must have a minimum of 15 players registered by the deadline to be included in the schedule for fall. Schedules will then be made and published on Sept 2nd. No teams will be added after the Deadline.
Note** If a team does not register enough players by the deadline, the players that did register will be moved to a different team or refunded.
